Brief Description
Bank of India (BOI), a leading Public Sector Bank, invites online applications for the recruitment of Specialist Officers in various streams and scales (Scale II, III, & IV). This recruitment drive aims to fill multiple positions in fields like IT, Risk Management, Law, Finance, and more. The selection process will be through an online test and/or a personal interview, depending on the number of applications received.

- Candidates must ensure they fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria specified for the post they are applying for as of 01.01.2025.
- It is mandatory to produce all relevant documents in original for verification during the interview.
Selection Process
Online Test & Interview
- The selection will be through an online test and/or personal interview. The Bank may also conduct the selection process based only on an interview.
- Online Test: Consists of English Language (qualifying), Professional Knowledge, and General Awareness with special reference to the Banking Industry.
- Interview: Candidates who rank sufficiently high in the online test will be called for a personal interview. The total marks for the interview are 100.
- Final Selection: If both test and interview are conducted, the weightage (ratio) will be 80:20 respectively.
How to Apply
- Candidates must apply online through the Bank's website www.bankofindia.co.in under the 'CAREER' section.
- Click on "Click here for New Registration" to create a provisional Registration Number and Password.
- Fill the application form carefully, as no changes are permitted after final submission.
- Upload scanned copies of your photograph, signature, left thumb impression, and a handwritten declaration.
- Pay the application fee online using a Debit/Credit card, Internet Banking, etc.
- Take a printout of the e-Receipt and the final online application form for your records.

1. Can I apply for more than one post?
No, you can only apply for one post. In case of multiple applications, only the latest valid and completed application will be considered.
2. Are the marks from the English Language test counted for the merit list?
No, the Test of English Language is of a qualifying nature. The marks obtained in it will not be added while preparing the merit list.
3. Is there a penalty for wrong answers in the online exam?
Yes, there is a penalty for wrong answers. For each incorrect answer, one-fourth (0.25) of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted.
4. I am currently working in a government organization. Do I need any special document?
Yes, if you are serving in a Government or Public Sector Undertaking, you must produce a "No Objection Certificate" (NOC) from your employer at the time of the interview.
5. Is there a security deposit after selection?
Yes, selected candidates in MMGS-II must deposit ₹2,00,000, and those in MMGS-III & above must deposit ₹3,00,000. This amount is refundable after 3 years of satisfactory service.
6. What is the text for the handwritten declaration?
The text is: "I, ______ (Name of the candidate), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required."
